The demonic nature of halloween

 Halloween night is regarded as the very highest satanic holy day. It is the most important day of the year for witches, warlocks and all who sympathize with them because it is known as the devil's birthday. This date marks the Celtic New Year and the end of the growing season, which is why it morphed into a festival of death that worships the lord of death. 

The Celtics had priests called Druids. On October 31st the Druids would go from house to house DEMANDING certain foods. If anyone refused their demands, they would be PERSECUTED by the evil spirits and CURSED. This very demonic ritual has become known as "Trick or Treat." Basically, it means give me a treat or else. 

As they went on their evil journey through the town, they would carry large turnips carved out with demon faces as charms--they were believed to be their spirit guides. This is the origin of the Jack-O-Lantern many people use today. They also dressed in evil costumes because it was a way to "scare" the other evil spirits that might get in their way. 

As Christians we should seek the wise council of the Holy Spirit before engaging in Halloween related activities. If we are faithful to pray and ask God to speak to us concerning these things, He will most definitely reveal the TRUTH. This “holiday” is saturated with evil and all kinds of darkness. It is understandable that most people are unaware of just how dark this day truly is, but many have sounded the alarm concerning these things. A very dangerous spiritual door is opened when we agree with the enemy on any level, especially on the most demonic night of the year. We must proceed with great caution!

We should listen to those people who have intimate knowledge of the demonic rituals and celebrations that occur on this day. It is very clear that these conversations may frighten some, and may even cause people to run in the opposite direction, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have them. Christianity is not easy, as a matter of fact, when we are willing to say “yes” to God, we will find ourselves way out of our comfort zone. That is not a bad place to be. Actually, it’s a great place to be because we will find ourselves fighting for TRUTH. 

God uses our past to help people overcome darkness, struggles, and strongholds. I have seen first hand what the devil can do. If we give him legal rights to enter our lives in any way, he will start a campaign of destruction so massive that we wouldn’t even know what hit us. To make matters even worse, he will do it in a very discrete way. We likely won’t even realize how it happened. John 10:10 tells us that, “The thief (devil) comes to steal and kill and destroy.” But, Jesus said, “I came so that they may have LIFE and have it ABUNDANTLY.”

We also find a very powerful verse in Proverbs 9:10 that says, “The FEAR of the LORD is the beginning of WISDOM.” We must understand what that means. I didn’t for a long time in the beginning of my walk with Christ. Needless to say, it got me into a lot of trouble. God gives us all of the weapons of warfare we need to be victorious over the enemy. Fearing God and Wisdom are critical. When we ask for wisdom, He blesses us with knowledge.

The Bible is clear in Hosea 4:6, "My people DIE due to lack of knowledge." But wait, the verse continues, "Because you have REJECTED knowledge, I WILL also REJECT you." We most definitely DO NOT want to be at the tail end of this verse. Let us pray sincerely seeking Wisdom, especially about the things we don’t understand or maybe even fear. God will always be faithful to guide us according to HIS perfect will. If we let HIM, HE will always steer us away from darkness.

It is time for us to wake up and STOP compromising with the enemy. 

We MUST stand firm on the Word of GOD and reject ALL forms of evil.
